Energys Green Hydrogen Graduates Program

Energys Welcomes New Talent as Part of ‘Green Hydrogen Graduate’ Program

Energys Australia welcomes aboard five new faces to its growing team as the company continues to expand to meet demand for its hydrogen fuel cell generators and green hydrogen electrolysers. The new additions to the team were drawn from local Victorian Universities and include Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineers who have completed or are in the final stages of their degrees.

The Energys Green Hydrogen Graduate Program aims to develop the next generation of highly skilled specialist required to realise the promise of a hydrogen economy. Early investment in renewable hydrogen technology has placed Energys at the forefront of this new market with a range of reliable plug and play zero emission power products . The company has recently moved to a new facility in Mulgrave, Victoria where it is fast establishing new production lines for a growing list of orders from around the world.

By being a technology leader, the company also now shoulders a responsibility for developing a new local workforce capable of delivering these leading products to market. The hydrogen economy is, in many respects, in its infancy and with an exciting long-term period of high growth ahead, will require a pool of suitably qualified and experienced workers to meet the global demand for zero emissions products. The Green Hydrogen Graduate Program forms a key part of meeting this skills requirement by giving talented new graduates real world exposure to the knowledge, tools and experience that Energys has developed over the past decade.

“We have always invested in the future. It started ten years ago when we recognised the vast market opportunity for hydrogen technology and invested in it early.” Said Energys Vice President and Co-founder Noel Dunlop.

“Now that our technology is mature, we’re ready to bring it to the world. But in order to deliver the next generation of zero emissions green energy products and services, we also need to nurture the next generation of engineers, technicians and skilled workers to carry that responsibility into the future. That’s what the Green Hydrogen Graduate Program is all about.”

The Energys Green Hydrogen Graduate Program runs for approximately 6 months and will give participants real world experience on leading edge and high-profile hydrogen power projects.

“Our graduate program will take students and place them right on the leading edge of an emerging market. More than that, they get to make a difference in something that I think all young people are invested in – zero emissions technology and the future of our planet. It’s a great place for young bright minds to make an impact.” Said Energys Managing Director Roger Knight.

Energys Australia warmly welcomes these new members to the team and looks forward to seeing them grow and develop as they move through the program.
